We had the best beach day of the year on Nov. 4th this year. Seems the best days are always in the fall. We went with Brad and Tara and Melissa and Sean on a Thursday at 3:30. The kids had a great time and so did the parents - and when the mommies have a great time even with the daddys surfing-you know it was a great beach trip. The weather was so hot and no wind. I was sweating it out. Didn't even considering wearing a swimsuit(who does 1 month after having a baby) but really wish I had. Finn was even super good and slept most of the time. And yes, even with the sun setting it was still nice and warm.

oh i just invisioned daws and hallie playing alongside their cousins at the beach...ahh..oneday huh? callie you look GREAT! you could have pulled off a swimsuit for sure. it's funny we live on the same coast line and today it's 33 degrees! Finn's one handsome fellow, can't wait to see him.
