About once a year this bird come to our backyard to hunt lizards! It's the funniest thing to watch. It gets real still then starts swing it's neck from side to side real slow and then whammie like lightening speed snaps up the lizard. This time he grabbed this GIGANTIC aligator lizard that has been in our backyard. We have TONS of lizards (blue belly), but this year we somehow got this huge aligator lizard that is real mean. There are always fights coming from the bush he lives in and I really can't belive how big he is (or was). So the crane snaps him and and has to fly down to the grass cause this lizard is putting up a fight and biting and kicking. The fight goes on for a while, I won't go into detail, but Owen thought it was so cool and gross. Eventually everything is swallowed and the bird continues his anual lizard hunt in our backyard.
