Lately we have been going on lizard hunts. We go down to the park by our house and Matt and Owen go climb up the hill to catch lizards. Matt makes a lizard lasso out of a long weed, catches a lizard and Owen holds the lizard (while it is biting him and going crazy)and Matt takes the lasso off. We put it in our box and then catch a few more. After we get a few we take them to our house and let them go in our backyard. We are trying to get a population of Lizards in our yard to eat all the bugs. And it's just fun for the kids. I wish I had a picture of Owen with the lizards becasue he is amazing. He lets them climb all over him and he doesn't mind a bit.

I will never forget how as kids we would catch the blue bellies and sometimes the Alligator lizards except those ones ALWAYS bit us...and remember how we would keep them in this REALLY big red bucket we had. Hahahha. Good old days. I love how fearless Owen is. What a little hero. Love Jana
Eeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I just wrote a post about lizards...I hate them! You might get a kick out of what I wrote too. A neighbor told us that that is the same reason there are so many lizards around us...some kid catches them and lets them loose in his backyard.
